Virtual Counseling in Colorado
Defy Convention, Abide Truth
Your quirks make you special. What makes you sick also makes you a statistic. Happiness and mental wellness happens when you pick being true to yourself instead of pretending, choose health over sickness, and pick life over death. Even when it goes against social momentum.
Your truth shall set you free.
Unconventional Therapy For Misfits, Eccentrics, and Weirdos
You’re weird to the very core of your being. You being you makes you vastly different than everyone around you. It has set you apart, above, below or away from others.
Your difference has made you a target for trauma of all kinds, like bullying, neglect, physical or sexual assault, coercion, manipulation and countless others, maybe even from your parents as soon as you were born. Your difference makes it hard to get help and support, even from professionals: therapists have let you down too.
Somewhere along the way you learned: Being yourself is unsafe.

Who You Are
You Can’t Shake It
You have this feeling that you just don’t belong. You’re weird. Or broken. Or an eccentric. Or a freak, geek or clown. A mystic, a magician, a witch. Or an empath. Or an alien. Or disabled. Or so marginalized that you don’t even fit into the conversations about marginalization. Maybe you’re enlightened? But you’re definitely, for sure, in the Matrix.
People have accused you all kinds of things that you both believe and know are horseshit. You think wrong, sense wrong, experience life wrong. You love the wrong kind of people and enjoy the wrong kinds of things, and you do it in the wrong way. You are too much of this or not enough of that. You’re the wrong color, size, or shape. Your beliefs are wrong. You learned from a young age that you are not okay as you are and that you need to be fixed, changed, transformed, transmuted and alchemized in order to be loved.
When you’re alone, you don’t feel weird at all. But then your loneliness aches like physical pain and keeps you from breathing. You desperately seek connection wherever and however you can, and that typically means at the cost of being yourself. Which makes you feel only more lonely. Cue mental health symptoms.
Find Higher Ground
I invite you to come sit with me, just as you are, on the mountaintop, and to look at your life from high above. You might be surprised how much you can breathe up here. Once you’re breathing, we’ll work together to figure out what a full, rich and complete life is for you, and the degree that life includes other people. We’ll create a smart, simple, strategic plan of action that is aligned with your authentic self to get you where you want to go, even if you don’t want to go anywhere at all. .
I can’t promise what exactly you’ll get – healing retains a certain mystery. I am confident in saying that you will have a choice to release those things that aren’t important to you and embrace those things that are; and that you’ll have more energy, skills and tools to make quality choices for yourself. You’re likely to see changes at work, in relationships, in your family of origin and how you spend your time.
I offer a place for peace, for those weary souls who struggle to find belonging in this crazy mixed up world of ours.
Meet the Therapist for Misfit Toys
Hello!
I am Christina Osborne. Some folks call me Trinity. If I have to answer the questions of gender and sexuality, it would to request the form be rewritten to disinclude that information. My core self has no name, no gender, no sexuality, no race, no creed – she exists as breath, clouds, and fairy sprinkles. I use I/me pronouns when talking about myself. I’m interested to see how you see me and which pronouns you choose to use when talking about me.
I have a master’s degree from Naropa University in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I have a full, unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in Colorado, and I have applied for my associate license in North Carolina.
I’ve been a weirdo my whole life. From birth, no one knew what to do with this one-eyed, liquid girl with too many feelings, who may have had a past life as an octopus. I have aged gracefully into the neighborhood eccentric who paints furniture in the backyard of my rental house and making crafts out of toilet paper tubes. I know what it’s like to be different.
